Intelligent interactive editing

Achieve fast accurate layout with an interactive editing environment that’s ideal for all types of IC design. Lyric Editor provides a single, highly intuitive environment that enables you to adjust cell placement and edit circuit interconnects with ease to achieve significant productivity gains. A comprehensive shape editing suite is complemented by connectivity-driven tools that generate DRC correct layouts as well as ‘change layer’ and ‘change width’ features. Extensive operation reports and checks ensure full design-for-manufacture adherence.

Shape-based auto routing

Lyric Router gives you the highest quality-controlled and constrained automatic routing system available on the market today. Designed to rapidly accommodate the very latest and toughest nanometer processes and rules, yield improvement is a key capability of the tool. Lyric Router simultaneously handles minimum/optimum rules and contains an optimisation programme to identify and improve yield unfriendly layout shapes. A hierarchical constraint management system supports constraint implementation from other front-end tools, such as Cadence schematics.
